Many underserved communities in the United States are plague with street violence. Many people believe the false narrative that the rise of gangs is due to a lack of morals and a lack of parenting. However, part of the issue is due to the lack of resources. If a community has a lack of jobs available that pay a living wage, there is a greater chance that some residents will resort to crime in order to make a living. Therefore, workforce development in underserved communities is extremely imperative in order to combat crime in America.

Many people on the right want to deregulate Wall Street, which will increase the wealth gap. Wall Street needs to be regulated to make sure our free market system stays fair and equal, without true regulation on Wall Street we could potentially witness a recession much worse than 2008.
